US 30-year mortgage rate falls to lowest level since May 2013

FXStreet (London) - US Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation – Freddie Mac – announced that the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage rate for the week ended today fell to 3.89 percent, down from 3.97 and the lowest rate since May 2013.

The 15-year rate fell to 3.1 percent, down from 3.17 percent. The 5/1-year adjustable-rate mortgage rate average declined to 2.94 percent, down from 3.01 percent the previous week.
