USD/CHF deviates slightly from 2014 high

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The dollar continues to trade near recent highs versus major competitors as investors start cleaning their desks for Christmas celebrations.

USD/CHF
pulled back slightly from a 2 ½-year high scored Tuesday at 0.9885, with the downside being contained by the 50-hour SMA at 0.9847. At time of writing, USD/CHF is trading at 0.9851, 0.25% below its opening price.

USD/CHF levels to watch

As for technical levels, if USD/CHF breaks decisively below 0.9850, it could find immediate supports at 0.9829 (100-hour SMA) and 0.9804/00 (Dec 22 low/psychological level). On the flip side, resistances are seen at 0.9885 (2014 high Dec 23), 0.9900 (psychological level) and 0.9971 (2012 high).
