"This week’s key releases are Wed-Fri, including Australia’s Q1 CPI, US Q1 GDP and policy decisions by the Federal Reserve, RBNZ and Bank of Japan. Today in Asia, Philippines Feb trade balance and Singapore Mar industrial production are released.
The consensus for US Mar durable goods orders is a 1.9% rise, with the non-defence ex air measure at a more subdued 0.6%. Consumer confidence (Conference Board) in Apr is expected to remain stable around highs since 2007, at 95.8. We also see the S&P/Case-Shiller house price index and the Richmond Fed manufacturing survey."
