EMU: Consumer Confidence soars to 15.4 in November
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Consumer Confidence surprised to the upside in November, jumping to 15.4 from -14.5 in October, the European Commission reported on Thursday. Market consensus pointed to a drop to -15.4.
Eurozone Business Climate rose to 0.18 in November, from -0.08 in October, above expectations of an increase to 0.03.
The Economic Sentiment Indicator climbed to 98.5 from 97.7 and above forecasts of rising to 98.0.
Industrial Confidence decline slowed down from -5 to -3.9, above expectations of -4.4. Services Sentiment grew to -0.8 from -3.7 and beating forecasts of -3.5.
