North Korea threatens to strike US island of Guam, Seoul

According to state media Korean Central News Agency, citing a statement from spokesman for Korean People’s Army, North Korea will “sweep Guam (Guam is a U.S. island territory in Micronesia), the base of provocations, from the surface of the earth” if the U.S. lets B-1B bombers fly over Korea.

The US has recently deployed B-2 bombers to Guam amid North Korea provocations. As UPI notes: "The B-2 bombers are to be used in training flights and to test how well the aircraft can be integrated with the forces of regional allies, the Strategic Command said."

According to reports, North Korea is willing to use its “nuclear sword” against “nuclear threats and blackmailing” from U.S. North Korea notes that its nuclear capabilities can “completely reduce Seoul into ashes.”
