IMF’s Georgieva: A Russian default is no longer “an improbable event”

Russia is expected to default on its debt obligations as the nation suffers a deep recession due to the Western sanction amid the Ukraine crisis, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva warned late Thursday.
